Miyetti Allah Backs Tinubu

Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural group, yesterday backed the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer in the February 2023 Presidential election, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

It also supported Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule for a second term.

Speaking in Lafia, the group’s National President, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello-Boejo, said the endorsement was based on the duo’s track record in previous positions.

He went on to say that the Fulani people were also drawn to Tinubu’s choice of Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.

During his tenure as governor of Borno State, Shettima developed and built schools in Fulani settlements, he explained.

The Miyetti Allah president also said that Governor Sule had given priority to security and created an enabling environment for the Fulani people and farmers in the last three years of his administration.

“So, all Fulani people in Nigeria are for APC and will campaign tirelessly to ensure the victory of their candidates in 2023,” he added.

Responding on behalf of the APC presidential candidate, Shettima lauded the group for the goodwill and support.

Shettima pledged that when elected in 2023, they would ensure that the Fulani people were cared for to rear their cattle in modern ways with adequate facilities and ensure that their children were well educated and empowered.
