Tribunal Upholds Governor Oyebanji’s Election

The Election Petition Tribunal upheld the election of Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his deputy, Mrs Monisade Afuye.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Tribunal dismissed the petition of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate, Mr Segun Oni, in its judgement on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti.

All issues in contention against Oni and his party, SDP, were resolved in the judgment read by the Chairman, Justice Wilfred Kpochi, and a member of the Panel, Justice Sa’ad Zadawa.
