EasyJet Flight Heading to UK Diverted After Bomb Threat Report

An EasyJet flight from Poland to the United Kingdom was diverted to the Czech Republic after receiving word that there might be a bomb on board.

According to the Daily Mail, EasyJet flight EZY6276 arrived safely at 10:50 p.m. on Sunday in the Czech Republic’s capital, an hour into its two-and-a-half-hour flight, landing at Prague’s Vaclav Havel Airport.

Prague Airport tweeted: ‘There was reported a possible bomb on board an aircraft.

“EasyJet flight EZY6276 from Krakow to Bristol was diverted to Prague last night after a ‘possible bomb’ was found on board.

“All actions to ensure the safety of passengers and all air traffic were carried out by Police of the Czech Republic.”

According to the Czech police, “pyrotechnicians” were dispatched to the scene to look into and remove the suspicious object.

Prague Airport officials reported that after the pyrotechnic examination, no harmful objects were discovered on the aircraft.
